–    In case I need to make a reservation, when should I notify the Company?

As long as there is available crew and aircraft and taking into account the airport and the destination, you can make a reservation 60 minutes prior for a helicopter take off and 2 hours prior for plane departure flight

During peak season (holidays and/or summer) due to high demand, we suggest you inform us as soon as possible.

–    From where do Air Intersalonika’s helicopters take off?

The fleet of Air Intersalonika is based at the International Athens Airport ”Eleftherios Venizelos”. Take off and landing take place on the Athens Airport’s General Aviation’s Building. Accordingly, our helicopters land at the Airport of Thessaloniki and at other airports, depending on the flight’s needs. A helicopter’s take-off can be performed from other spots too, under strict safety measures.

– How do I get to the General Aviation’s Building at International Athens Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”?

The best way to reach the International Airport of Athens “Eleftherios Venizelos” is to take the “Attiki Odos” motorway.
Once you leave the International Airport behind you, proceed straight until you find the special sign that leads to the General Aviation’s Building. Drive along the main highway towards the Airport until you reach the Arrivals-Departures Building and proceed straight until the highway changes course, towards Athens. Continue straight, following the signs towards the General Aviation Building (Gate 12/ Technical Base and Fire Station). After approx. 500m take a turn on your right. You will notice Police Officers and the representatives of Air INTERSALONIKA .You can park your vehicle there and our representatives will accompany you to the passport control and then to our aircraft.

–    Can I park my vehicle in the building of General Aviation?

For Air Intersalonika’s clients, there are available free parking spaces outside the building of the General Aviation. During peak seasons, parking spaces are limited.

–    After reaching the General Aviation building, will there be anyone expecting me?

The representative of Air Intersalonika will be there to welcome you and take care of all  the details for your departure.

–    Where can the helicopter land?

Our first consideration is safety. The helicopters land on safe areas, such as airports, helipads and on obstacle free areas that meet the requirements on safe landing, always according to pilot’s judgment and under the condition that there is permission from the owner of the area. Our vast experience provides us with knowledge for a great number of locations and areas.

–    Can I bring my pet along for the flight?

If you wish to take your pet on board, it needs to be kept it in a pet carrier during takeoff, landing and agitating. This is the best way to keep your pet safe and comfortable during the flight.

–    What is your Company’s policy on in-flight smoking?

In-flight smoking is prohibited to all the aircrafts of  Air Intersalonika according to the regulations.
